Applications
The main uses of the heating cables are:
- Anti-frost protection or maintaining the temperature of pipes carrying water, oil, fuel, etc.
- Defrosting of heat pump evaporators, freezer and cold room doors.
- The demisting of refrigerated show-cases.
The heated sheets, heated belts and heated covers are intended for anti-freezing standard containers or maintaining their temperature (200 litre drums, 1000 litre containers, etc.) or special (custom tarpaulins) and hoppers.
Temperature-controlled heating cables
These cables exist in 2 ranges: 14 and 28 W/m. Regulation is ensured by the adding a thermostat in series. They are used for defrosting and maintaining the temperature of pipes. They have the advantage of needing no wiring. A 30 W/m model with thermostat 5°C has been designed specifically for heat pumps.
Self-regulating heating cables
This range of built-in regulation cables is available in power per unit length of 15 to 20 W/m. They are mainly used for anti-freeze protection, demisting and defrosting.
Heating cables at constant power
Available in several ranges from 15 to 40 W/m for temperatures up to 140°C, they are used for anti-freeze protection, heating, defrosting, demisting, outflow of condensation, etc.
Heated tarpaulins & covers
A range of standard sheets, assembled by lacing or Velcro®, was developed for the usual containers: 200 litre drums and 1,000 litre rectangular containers. Many custom solutions can be studied on request.
