Applications
The heating cables are mainly used for:
- Frost protection of pipes conveying water, oil or other liquids.
- Preheating or holding the temperature of pipes conveying water, oil, heating oil, bitumen, etc.
- Defrosting the evaporators of air conditioners, heat pumps and refrigerating equipments.
- Defrosting of freezer and cold room doors.
- Defrosting and removing snow from rolling areas: access ramps, rails, etc.
- Snow removal from roofs, gutters, etc.
- Heating hoppers.
- Demisting refrigerated display cases.
- Forcing cultures.
Self-regulating heating cables
This range of self-limiting heating cables is available in power range from 10 to 33 W/m. and in two temperature ranges.
They are cut to length on site.The instructions for use accurately describe the fitting procedure.
These parallel supply cables allow branch lines and "T" connections from a single point of power supply.
Low temperature range 65°C.
These cables are used to maintain the temperature up to 65°C when the surface temperature regulation is not possible. Their surface temperature does not exceed 65°C. The maximum temperature of exposure, power off, is 85°C.High temperature range 120°C.
These cables are used to maintain the temperature up to 120°C when the surface temperature regulation is not possible. Their surface temperature does not exceed 120°C. The maximum temperature of exposure, power off, is 200°C.
Constant wattage heating cables
Available in various ranges from 10 to 60W/m for temperatures up to 150°C, they are used for frost protection, heating, defrosting, demisting, condensate flow, etc.
They are cut to length on site. The instructions for use accurately describe the fitting procedure.
These parallel supply cables allow branch lines and "T" connections from a single point of power supply.
As they are neither self-regulating or self-limiting, it is necessary to control them by a temperature control device from a simple thermostat to an electronic controller.
Low temperature range 65°C.
These cables are used for frost protection or holding the temperature up to 65°C.
High temperature range 150°C.
These cables are used for holding the temperature up to 150°C. Their fluropolymer over jacket allows them to resist the aggression of many chemical compounds and steam cleaning (chemical and pharmaceutical industries).
